1. Commitment
BuildersBids LLC is working to make BuildersBids.com usable by people with disabilities and compatible with commonly used assistive technologies. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing product, content, and support responsibility.
2. Accessibility target
BuildersBids uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical design and testing target where reasonably applicable. This statement is not a representation that every page, document, or third-party component currently conforms in every respect.
3. Measures
- Semantic headings, labels, links, and form controls.
- Keyboard focus visibility and keyboard-operable workflows.
- Responsive layouts and readable text contrast.
- Alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate.
- Error messages and instructions associated with forms.
- Review of important registration, payment, project, and support workflows.
4. Third-party and user-provided content
Stripe components, uploaded plans, PDFs, proposal documents, images, and other third-party or user-provided materials may present accessibility limitations outside BuildersBids’ direct control. BuildersBids will provide reasonable assistance or an alternative method when practicable.
5. Request assistance or report a barrier
Describe the page, feature, document, device, browser, assistive technology, and problem encountered. BuildersBids will review the request and work toward a reasonable response or alternative access method.
- Email support@buildersbids.com with the subject “Accessibility Request.”
- Use the Contact & Support Center and begin the message with “Accessibility Request.”
6. Continuous improvement
BuildersBids may prioritize barriers affecting core account, verification, project, bid, payment, communication, and support workflows. Feedback is used to improve future releases.
