Know exactly how marketplace access works.

Can any company immediately access projects?
New accounts must verify their email and complete the company-verification process. Marketplace access begins after BuildersBids approves the company.
Can a subcontractor see plans before paying?
No. Private plans, trade scope, bid submission, and secure trade messaging remain locked until the subcontractor purchases the exact matching trade.
Does buying HVAC also unlock Electrical plans?
No. Every trade is sold and protected separately. Purchasing HVAC unlocks only the approved HVAC package for that project.
When is direct contact information shared?
During bidding, both parties use the protected workflow. Direct GC and subcontractor contact information becomes available only after the GC accepts that exact trade bid.
What is Limited 3-Bid Access?
It limits a selected trade to a maximum of three paid or actively reserved subcontractors, helping the GC maintain a more focused bidding process.
